     All friction primer orders placed for the rest of April starting today will begin shipping the second week of May. This is to allow for a buildup of stock for the big Artillery show in Mansfield, OH the first weekend of May. This a very profitable show and I need to be well stocked for it and the repeat customers who count on me to be there so that they can purchase their supply of friction primers for the year.      Business is painfully slow right now and as a result I have about 150 primers that are as yet unspoken for, in stock ready ship as soon as payment is recieved. This doesn't happen often. Take advantage of it now!

     As you can probably guess, business is always slowest during the winter months which could be good for you. Now until mid March is the best time to order primers or any other product for the quickest possible delivery. Remember, starting 1-1-13 minimum order for primers is 25 except when ording with other products and as always, please allow 2-4 weeks for delivery just in case.

     Effective January 1 2013. Minimum order for friction primers to be shipped will be 25 pieces. There will be no minimum for anything picked up in person at my place or at an event. Small orders (under 100 pieces) will also be held and shipped with other orders or when I have to be out for an other purpose. This is due to high fuel prices. Its not economically feasible to burn $10.00 in gas to ship an order that I won't clear $10.00 in profit on. Sorry for this incovenience. In order to keep the business operating this has to be done.

     A message to all. Please read the last article and please try to understand my point of view. I appreciate all customers and its not my intension to make things hard for anybody, but some people are making things hard for me. PLEASE CONTACT ME BY EMAIL OR THE CONTACT FORM. I'M RARELY AVAILABLE TO ANSWER THE PHONE AND I DON'T HAVE A SECRETARY TO DO IT FOR ME. Please understand.
     Also, do not contact me on Monday and expect to have your primers by the weekend. Its not going to happen. Always plan on 2-4 weeks lead time for primers. Thanks for you understnading and consideration.

     With business getting increasingly better, there is also increasingly less time to accept or return phone calls. I'm frequently either out in the field or working on something in house that I can't easily pull away from at a moments' notice to answer a phone call. It seams that telemarketers are also becoming a more frequent problem. For these reasons, please either use the contact form on this site or email me at pyrogunner@yahoo.com. These have always been the best contact methods and always will be. All this being said, for anyone who isists on calling, you will most likely get voice mail. In this case please leave a message in a clear voice stating exactly what I can help you with and I will call you back when I can. Please note I neither accept calls nor return them on weekends or holidays, so if you call on Friday evening its likely to be Monday afternoon before I get back to you, so the best thing to do is email or use the contact form. Also, business is very good right now so please allow up to 4 weeks for delivery of friction primers. If you contact me on Monday and want your orders by Friday, I'm sorry, but there is no way that is going to happen.

     Due to many requests, we are now accepting credit cards. It wasnt easy finding a processing company who woudln't refuse to deal with an explosives related business, but in an effort to increase convenience and better serve you I have found such a company. There will be a 2.75% procerssing fee for in person credit card transactions where I swipe your card and a 3.5% processiong fee for online or phone orders where I have to key it in. These are the rates the processor charges me and are in addition to shipping and sales tax.
     When ordering with a credit card, as always, its advisable to contact me for availability before placing an order. You can order online with the contact form            by providing your card information and shipping address along with an itemized list of what you would like to order. Please note that we still do not ship black powder or percussion caps except for the drop shipping of Diamondback brand black powder in 25 lb increments.

Our primers will be appearing on the hit History Channel show, TopShot next Tuesday March 20, 2012. They'll be using them them to fire a Spanish American War 3.2" breechloading rifle. I was told by Rick Pohlers who owns the cannon and purchased the primers for it that they all worked perfectly as expected! I'm looking forward to seing it myself and I hope you can tune in too!

     Due to difficulty collecting, ALL product orders will be prepaid in full before they're shipped, NO EXCEPTIONS. I apologize if this causes any inconveniences to government agencies or anyone else who insists on recieving the product before paying, but this is necessary to maintain cash flow. I've had multiple experiences recently where it's taken months to collect on this type of transactions. Meanwhile I still have bills that must be paid like anyone else and money tied up in the product that can't be otherwise used.
