Old fashioned crystal rock candy on a stick.
All Natural ~ Made with old fashioned black strap molasses, the Black Jack sticks have a smooth, rich long-lasting all natural flavor. Black Jacks come in a 6 oz. package. These candies are all made by hand just the way they were back in the 1800's, using the original recipe. Circa 1830.
The first commercially made candy in America. The Gibralters come in either lemon or peppermint flavor and have a smooth melt-in-your-mouth texture. 12 envelopes per order. Choose Lemon, Peppermint, or 6 of each flavor!
Each piece is approximately 2"x3" although sized may vary. Each piece is not less than 1/2 oz. & packed in its own envelope with a printed story of the "Origin of the Famous Salem Gibralters". Candies are all made by hand just the way they were back in the 1800’s, using the original recipe. Circa 1806.
Packaged to look like paper musket cartridges, comes in four fruit flavors and has the sweet-tart taste of whichever flavour is consumed. The “musket ball” included is gum in assorted flavours packed at random.
A liquorice flavored (very) hard candy (don't bite this bullet!). As it is savored, it will tend to change colours. It actually has a basis in history: soldiers in the British Army, serving in the Caribbean Islands during the Napoleonic wars, made a candy mixture of ginger and molasses in musket ball moulds, to relieve the dryness in the mouth associated with the actions of firing black powder weapons.
A medium course sugar. It has a resemblance to actual black powder but tastes a whole lot better. Black Powder Candy actually has no discernable taste. It’s much the same as chowing down in the sugar bowl, so it’s ideal for those who are finicky about flavors.
